Every instructor that I have come across at SKC has been super professional and knowledgeable. Not only that but the way that each and every one if them relates to all of the students both children and adult is exceptional. Since my son started there he has gained so much confidence in himself I witnessed him stand up to a bully for another child at the park last week! I was so proud of him for getting in between the two kids and then talking the bully down instead of it becoming a physical confrontation. Before SKC he would have done the other way and not gotten involved.

SKC has the best instructors! They are knowledgeable, disciplined and most importantly, they love the kids. It’s hard to find a balance of tough and fair and these guys do just that! I’ve never seen so many kids love their teachers!

SKC has not only been a blessing to my youngest daughter but the entire family as well. I have seen her grow in self confidence, motivation, and focus. She is excited to come each week and misses it so much if she is unable to attend. It has been amazing to see her growth over these two years...black belt is not far now. SKC has offered so much more than just karate class- summer camps, game nights, parents night out, water fun, exciting competitions, and even workouts for mom and dad. We have all made some great friendships as well! We recommend it to everyone we talk too! I cannot speak enough wonderful things about SKC!

I have been doing Isshinryu Karate for several years under Master Reese Rigby in Dover DE. I was pretty good at it, but it wasn't what I wanted in terms of martial arts. I recently began at Seigler's and let me tell you, it is more than I could hope for. With my karate background, I expected to come in to MMA class, kick off the shoes and throw some flashy kicks. I was wrong! Mr. Seigler started us off with a wrestling stance drill, and it completely wore my legs out, and I was completely out of breath. The class can really show you just where you are at in terms of cardio, flexibility, and endurance. I left that class feeling completely exhausted and I thought to myself, I gotta do this again. Seigler's Karate Center is amazing. The faculty is super polite and extremely helpful, and so far I have not met any students that weren't welcoming or helpful. I strongly recommend this place.

Today, my son did not want to participate in class. He was crying, and my thoughts were to just take him home. Right before I called him back the instructor came over. She asked him to be her helper, and about 2 minutes later he was with the other children practicing. All of the instructors are great with children!

SKC has been part of our kids training for about 3 years and it has become our second house. This is our second family and everyone of the staff members will make you feel that way. The ability to communicate, teach and send the message to little ones is incredible. The instructors are well experienced. There are different programs and there are different martial arts style from Kempo, Kickboxing, MMA and Brazilian Jujitsu. I really recommend SKC for any and ages!!!

An excellent team of instructors that care about the development of the entire child, physically, emotionally, and academically. In the padst 2 years we have seen the building of skills, confidence and sportsmanship in the lives of so many young children. SKC is truly a blessing to our community and families.

Our daughter has been in karate for two years now and it's has impacted her life in such a positive way! Her first day it took her almost the whole class to get on the mat but you should see her now. She went from scared and really shy to a little butterfly that talks to everyone! It's been a blessing!!

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Teaches Practical Self-Defense Techniques

The thought of having to defend yourself against a bigger, stronger assailant might be scary, but Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is designed to help you overcome your fears.

By teaching students to take the fight to the ground where they can use chokeholds and other effective techniques to defend themselves, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu helps leverage even a small body into a huge problem for an attacker.

Best of all, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu builds strength and agility, both of which help in self-defense situations.
